Weekly Word Study Homework
Monday- Cut out the words and sort them. Make sure you put the “key words” at the top so you can put the same type of words under each category. You might want to pick a few words to write a sentence with.
Tuesday- Sort the words again and write the words in categories on paper under the correct headings. Do a blind sort (ask someone to call out the words to you and you put the words under the correct category by only hearing the word not looking at it.)
Wednesday- Sort the words again. See how fast you can sort the words by having someone time you.
Thursday- Have someone call out the words for you to write them. Correct your mistakes if you have any.
