- Please keep Social studies and Science work in those sections of the binder. We want to keep the units intact to make it easier for you when it comes time to study for the tests.
- Please check the “left at home” and “right back to school” pockets of the binders nightly. When homework is checked, we move it to the correct location in class (math to “left at home”, science and social studies to that section of the binder).
- Your Word Study notebook will be the place where you complete Word Study and Language Arts (LA) homework. If an assignment does not take up the entire page, please draw a line and continue to use the page for the next assignment. The back of a page may be also be used in this way. Please write the day and date at the top of each section of work. This way, the notebook should last the entire year. (Please do not use the handwriting paper provided for math.)
- Math homework will be completed on the handwriting paper provided or on a math sheet provided. Some families are choosing to print the math homework and that is fine, too.
