Homework for Oct. 11 - 15

Homework for the Week of October 11th– October 15th         *Please look over what to do with your word study words each night* Read 10 minutes each night and record it on your reading calendar. Also make sure to review the following vocab. words each night: up, but, go, where, here, & am

Monday LA: Retell a story you have read, or one we have read at school. Write on paper what happened first, next, and last. Math Worksheet 2.7 This home link will be provided.  Look in the homework section of your STAR notebook.  See the assignment here.

Tuesday LA: Write these words: elephant, circus, bus, helicopter, truck, rabbit, & purple. Beside each word write the number of word parts (syllables) each word has. Ex. Wednesday LA: Write these words on your paper: small, tall, in, up, back, hot, empty. Then write the opposite for each word next to them. Ex. on   off Math worksheet 2.9 For this home link, use the handwriting paper provided in your homework section of your STAR notebook.  See the assignment here.

Thursday LA: Make new words! Write net. Change the vowel to “u” and write the word. Ex. net – nut. Do the same with these words by changing their vowel to a “u”. tab, cot, cap, hot, bag.
