You will need to know:
· What is matter?
· 3 states of matter (solid, liquid, gas)
· States of matter change
o Example: solids change to liquids whey they melt
· What is a mixture? (2 or more different things put together)
· Sink or float? (ex: Would a cork sink or float?)
· Heat (heat helps a mixture mix together faster, ex: sugar dissolves faster in hot water than cold water)
