Wednesday LA: Make a list of 10 “ow” words then write them in ABC order. For example: brown, gown, plow, town. Math- Write and draw five objects in your house that are the shape of a cylinder. |
Thursday LA: Read a story. Write down what happened at the beginning, middle, and end of the story. Math- Write down the time. What time will it be in 30 minutes? What time will it be in 45 minutes? How much time is there until you go to bed? |

FIELD DAY!!!!
Field day is Friday, June 10. Each class will wear matching t-shirts to promote team spirit. Mrs. Jenkins has graciously planned the shirts. We will wear neon green shirts that we will decorate on June 2 at 2:00.
Please send in $3.00 to cover the cost of your child’s shirt and the supplies to decorate them.

Science Review
· Animals, including people, have basic life needs, including air, food, water, and a suitable place to live.
· Body coverings include hair, fur, feathers, scales, and shells.
· Methods of movement may include walking, crawling, flying, and swimming.
· Simple ways to classify animals are whether they are wild or tame
· Wild: raccoon, hawk, squirrel, shark
· Tame: dog, cat, sheep
· Another way to classify animals is whether they live on land or in the water
· Land: dogs have fur and legs that help them live on land
· Water: fish have scales and fins that help them live in the water
