Homework for the Week of December 13th -17th *Please look over what to do with your word study words each night* Read 10 minutes each night and record it on your reading calendar. Also make sure to review the following vocab. words each night: now, said, help, so, & who

Monday LA: Choose three of your vocabulary words. Write one sentence for each word: help, said, now, so, & who. Remember to use at least five words in each sentence. Underline the words. Mrs. Hodges is collecting  newspapers for an art project.  Start sending them in. Tuesday LA: Write these words in ABC order: hat, car, pig, what, jet, will, big, pot, & tug. Have you gathered your supplies to make gingerbread houses?  Send them in by Friday. Wednesday LA: Make a list of 5 verbs (action words). Then choose your 3 favorite verbs and write them in sentences. Science Homework:  Make a chart with the headings: solid, liquid, & gas. Draw or cut out 3 pictures to put in each category.

Wednesday LA: Read a story with at least two characters in it. Write the title. Tell and write about how two of the characters are alike and how they are different.
